Building Unimaginable Shapes

This talk from Michael Hansmeyer reminds me that I shouldn’t be afraid to experiment with shape more, even (or especially?) when designing architecture.

“Nature has been called the greatest architect of form”. Simply folding paper can generate many variations. Any shape can be folded in multiple ways e.g. the cube. The forms are generated from algorithims i.e. he designed the process and the process makes the forms.
